What are "NCLB" and "Free SES Tutoring"?

Supplemental Educational Services (SES) are free tutoring services provided by SES Providers.  SES tutoring services are federally mandated and provided through

the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB).  Schools that receive Title I funds are required to comply with NCLB.

What Does This Mean to Parents and Students?

This means that parents of eligible students can receive tutoring at no cost.  The tutoring

services provided by state approved providers are 100% free.  Murray Learning is a New York State

approved provider.

Which Students are Eligible?

Students are determined to be eligible for free SES tutoring based on two main criteria:

1. Students must be low-income and enrolled in the free/reduced lunch program at their school.

2. Students must attend a qualifying school.
